Forest momordica charantia (Forest Bitter Melon, Forest Bitter Cucumber, Forest Bitter Gourd or Karela) is a tropical and subtropical vines growing in the tropics and subtropics. The Eucal:yptus family, with edible fruit, is the bitterest of the vegetables. This is a native of the tropics but it is unclear which country it originated from. Currently suffering through forests is widely planted in India, Pakistan, South Africa, Southeast Asia, China, Africa and the Caribbean. Forest Bitter Melon is rich in vitamin C, and anti-free radicals are responsible for aging and cardiovascular disease.

Forest Bitter Melon is used as an antibiotic in ethnic medicine. Moreover, in the research, they also helps lower liver enzymes.
